"Relativistic Landau Problem at Finite Temperature"

M. Santangelo

We analyze the finite temperature free energy and fermion number for Dirac ields in one'dimensional spatial segment, under two different members of the family of local boundary conditions definig a self'adjoint Euclidan Dirac operator in two dimension For one of such boundary conditions, compatible with the presence of a spectral asymmety, we discuss in detail the contributions of the part of the spectrum to the determinant and, thus, to the inite tempertaure properties of the theory.
